Good Morning,
I'm curious if any members here are using SNAPMASTER?
They claim to host 3D Printing, Laser Engraving and CNC Carving all in one tool.
I'm new to this aspect of woodworking and welcome any comments and opinions!
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,
I don't have any experience with a Snapmaster, but I debated for a while on getting one. For me, the print area was way to small. Even with the large version it wasn't enough. I ended up going with an "anycubic" resin printer (small area, but amazing detail), and an inexpensive laser from a chinese brand called "Two Trees" off of Alibaba. It has a print area of about 16", but isn't powerful enough to cut well.
For routing, I just freehand, but I'm usually just doing lettering that I fill with epoxy.
So I spent about $500 for the resin printer and laser... so, much cheaper than a Snapmaster. For everything else that I need (FDM printing, cutting laser, or xcarve) I head to the DIYcave.
Sorry I didn't have a direct answer, but maybe someone else might have more insight.
